The restaurant "Weingärtnerhaus" takes its name from the historic vineyards that lie just below the castle. In 1542 the Leitheim vineyard was surrounded with a solid wall and a magnificent vinedresser's house was constructed.
In 2014, the historic building was sensitively renovated and the charming, wood-paneled rooms and elegant dining rooms lovingly furnished.
Today, we pamper you with culinary delights at the open fireplace or the beautiful tiled traditional stove. Our distinguished prelate's room is especially well suited for private parties.

The flavoursome food on offer in this lovely wine grower's house built in 1542 (named after the vineyards just below it) is made using top-quality produce. Try the warm carpaccio of calf's head with prawns and truffle sabayon or the Berlin-style zander with black pudding and mash. The wine list contains a number of South African vintages.
